The company was formed in 1991 when Libor Mertl and Ales Prochazka won a contract to develop a speech annunciation unit for the blind, which encouraged them to go on and develop a range of micro-controller development tools. From there the company moved into engine control management with the development of the MX controller in 1993, which became the forerunner for many of the current product family of control units and software solutions
Libor Mertl celebrates this amazing milestone by saying:
”The last 20 years have been an amazing journey for us all. Back in 1991 the world was a very different place to the world we live in today. Many of the innovations and technology we now take for granted, were still waiting to be invented. And, it is the progress we have made during this time that makes me most proud – leading the market with new ideas and solutions that have changed the way our customers manage their power assets ”.
