Mr. Mohammed Qaraqi is the Managing Director of ComAp Systems Saudi Arabia, one of the most successful ComAp subsidiaries. The company established in 2004 is now the fastest developing ComAp subsidiary with tens employees and big turnover every year.
How to achieve such success in so short time? Mr. Qaraqi presents three possible directions in the interesting articles below.
The first one describes a very sophisticated project for Al Rowad National Plastic Company. A power management system, developed and installed by ComAp Systems Saudi Arabia, combines five paralleling systems designed to automatically synchronize the mains with PRIME Mitsubishi diesel generators delivering a capacity of 1.6MW/380V/60Hz each (total 28.8MW).
The second article discourses about modern electronic control systems that use the latest electronic communication technology to manage power loss effectively by monitoring multiple power supplies simultaneously and synchronizing different sets to the mains without the need of human intervention. Highly reliable control systems are required in business critical applications like hospitals and banks. Mr. Qaraqi explains his extensive project for King Fahad Hospital in Al Baha City in Saudi Arabia in this article.
The final study describes two effective ways of giving an existing generator driven applications and CHP applications a new lease of life by upgrading the control systems and bi-fuel engine conversion.
